Mod bug alert!!!

I have ordered a Fujita CAI for my 07 TLS. I am thinking about getting a ported and polished manifold only(no runners or TB). Along with this I will be upgrading the J-pipe. Aim of this is to increase low end TQ. What do you g uys think?
CAI+PnP( no runners or TB mod)+J-pipe--->>>Aim: Bump in low end TQ.

I would love to hear your feedback.

PnPing will only decrease ur low end torque bud. and the j-pipe gives additional power along the power band. i would say for low end torque dude u have got to do the mdx spacer mod!! i have it on my car (since our engines are brothers)and love the low end torque it gives!! good luck man!! i would say get mdx mod, j-pipe, and UR pulley

Interesting, any explanation for that? I thought it would increase TQ all along the power band. I know from another member's experience that the MDX mod+PnP= drastic loss of low end. That is why I was avoiding both together. Similarly, another member reported good gains with CAI+PnP+runners. Any more comments?

You might want to check out the thread on resetting the ECU (diy) and also be aware that the VSA will cut power and sometimes apply brakes when it senses wheel spin. IOW, for best performance, turn off the VSA and control wheel spin with the throttle.

Either or both of these will increase the low end torque available to you but you may wear out your front tires.

I agree. The only thing I would add is the P2R throttle body spacer and thermal gaskets. And remember to get the XLR8 j-pipe.
