Megan Racing M-spec II muffler on 06 at asm TL
Got a little extra cash on hand, now that I have bought a home for my wife and kids, theres no need any more to save every penny I make. With that being said, I made a little extra cash working on a friend's brakes and suspensions. So I finally decided to put money into my ride.
Ever since I have picked up my Tl I have had the "stage 3" exhaust setup. (Mid muffler delete, 16inch dynomax resonator) It had more of a purr than any growl at all, but then again it was better than the silence from completely stock exhaust. But now, the Tl is roaring thanks to these megan racing m-spec II carbon fiber mufflers. I am so impressed by these little mufflers so far. It gave me what the Tl has been lacking "the sound of performance". I wish I could get a good video with good exhaust note but when I tried to record the sound with my gs3 phone, the exhaust note sounded really raspy which is far from the real sound of these. Deep low growl at idle, deep roar on acceleration, and the exhaust begins to quiet down around 5500 rpm. Inside you can feel the exhaust note deep in your chest when you're on the gas, maybe thats not your thing, but thats everything I love about cars. I put on the turbo model of these mufflers because the plan now is boost or nitrous so the exhaust will be upgraded to 3inches soon. With stock pipes, cats, and the stage three, these mufflers are really loud. I wouldnt want it any other way.
Well I do not have any video or sound clips of the exhaust yet, after getting them put on I had to come into work on the graveyard shift. But I was able to get some pictures. Just wished the tips were sticking a little more further out from the bumper, but that'll be changing soon enough when I order an after market jpipe and open the rest of the exhaust from 2.25 to a full 3 inches.

Ok, I just went outside quickly while at work to make a video in the snow! There wasnt much traction outside, so I couldn't get a wot sound clip. Video is kind of long for a few clips of exhaust note. Start off at 0:00-0:23, I turn around and fast forwards to 0:50 as I past and turn back around go to1:40.
