Magnaflow setup

Hi.
I just got my 06 acura tl automatic.
Well after reading others have been removing the mid muffler and replace the resonator with a magaflow 10416 14" getting the g35 sound.
others have done custom mandrel bend piping from the cat back using 14325 mufflers with 2.5" mandrel bend piping.
I got a price for mandrel bend 2.5" piping in aluminized, magnaflow resonator 10416 14", maganflow mufflers #14325 (2), using stock tips for $600 total.
what is your input?
good price?
good setup?
i am not looking for anything loud, or rice, or crap just low, deep, not loud inside, but a nice note outside for the cars and people around.
I asked hotexhaust by chat and he said using the 12640 resonator longer 27" and bigger diameter 6" round along with the 143250*2 would be best for noise and automatic if it fits.
what do you all thing?
thanks

I'm waiting on GHL to finalize thier design for a complete bolt on cat-back... see about 3 threads below. Shouldn't cost but $100 or so more, for a complete bolt on kit...

If that never comes to fruition, I'm using the 27" resonator and the 14" mufflers.

HKS: $857
Greddy: $858
Comptech: $960

Magnaflow's unpolished system with little fartcan mufflers is $630...

Please be realistic, especially given the "one-off" nature of this product. The demand isn't very high, hence Comptech is the only cat-back provider to date, so GHL cannot amortize the development costs over many units.
This build would not even happen if Twig wasn't taking his own time and driving to Mesa to help with the design work, and I didn't already have experience working with GHL in the past and was there to convince GHL the market wants this.

Sure, a custom Maganflow setup will run you around $400, but it's:
1) NOT "bolt on" plug and play in your driveway, and fully reversible for trade in.
2) NOT Polished thick walled stainless steel from tip to tip
3) NOT Warrantied forever
4) NOT Designed and tuned specifically for the TL

The end GHL product could cost more than Comptechs and would still be worth it. Most GHL cat-backs for German based cars (with a single muffler) are in the $1100 range ($800+ on a GOOD GB). Participating in GB, when it comes to fruition, will get you a great deal, you can be sure of that. Sure, I'd like to pay $500 for as well, but you'll get what you pay for.
In that thread kennedy you stated that it could cost $1100.......did you get the price down to $700?

Please rereaed the whole thread... The $1100 was based on that one guys suggestion of installing $380 worth of tips... and the standard MSRP of the typical system.

The planned exhaust will be around $7-$800, depending on interest.

Sorry, really didn't want to read 10+ pages about panning to get an exhaust system. But thanks for answering the question

I've got the set-up that Chet quoted you. It sounds nice around 2000-3000. No droning at all inside the cabin. The only "problem" I've had so far is going acrossed a speed bump-the resonator scraped a little. Other than that, it's the best $200 spent so far.

Mine total was $350, with the 2 mufflers, resonator and straight pipe replacing first muffler.

Read this thread. I went with 2 magnaflow mufflers, Magnaflow Y and a 12 inch Magnaflow resonator all with custom cat back piping. Check out my post for sound clips. I was the first to get Magnaflow way back in the day.
