Magnaflow Resonator or No?

Hey Guys,

Need some help...

I just ordered my Pre-Cat Deletes, RV6 V3 j-pipe, Magnaflow Resonator, and XLR8 axle back.

My question is - do you guys recommend me running the resonator? I am looking for a good sound, not a fart can. And yes I am a former American Muscle guy ('68 Camaro w/ 454, '69 Chevelle w/ 454, '77 Chevy w/ 454, and '02 Mustang twin turbo'd)

This exhaust is a whole different ball game to me. I am a Borla man normally, long tube headers to off road H/X pipe to duals...so let me know what you guys recommend.

Thanks!

Josh

Nothing wrong with it. Swapping the stock res for a Magnaflow doesn't make much of a difference, going with a smaller Dynomax Bullet type resonator makes the tone much more aggressive while still keeping you from sounding like a ricer with a raspy fart can exhaust. You'll probably want the resonator so you don't think WTF did I do this sounds like a Civic, especially catless.

Based on the pre-cats, I would say yes or it will probably rasp.

Lol my exact thoughts. I did not want to ask myself the WTF question. I am hoping to God that it doesn't.

I am so hoping that it doesn't rasp badly.
