Koni Sport: Hard Ride

I have an 06 NBP TL on Eibach Pro springs with stock shocks. If I replace them with Koni Sports will that make the ride more uncomfortable? As of right now the Eibach make the ride a little harsh but drivable. I'm under the impression that by adding performance shocks with the Eibach springs my ride will actually feel more comfortable than my current set up. So can someone confirm that?

there are 2 different types of koni struts for the tl

sports and sp3...

both allow for damper adjustment, I will say this tho, at all the way soft, they are very soft stock like

The Eibach Pro Kit generally aren't that stiff. The KONI Yellows do have damping adjustment so you can set it on a softer setting to maintain ride comfort.

adding to what they said, I've installed koni sp3's with neuspeed sports, and the ride has gotten a little stiffer with the change of shocks (had the springs on before)

But I haven't adjusted it, just left the settings how they were. The ride isn't bad though, so adjusting for softer ride should be as well as stock.

Ride height is perfect and car feels more planted I might add

Koni yellows are awesome. On the softest setting, they feel like stock but damp better. That's the great thing, they get the job done without being artificially harsh. I've driven cars with lesser shocks that were stiffer yet didn't damp as well if that makes any sense. Konis are one of the few that I would actually use in competition.

With stiffer springs already, you may notice a better ride with the Konis since they may limit extra motion that the stockers were allowing since the stock shocks weren't up to the task of controlling a stiff spring.

Which reminds me, coming from some of the road racing guys, break them in on full soft for a while. It's not in the instructions but absolutely necessary for long life.

Also what price can I get these at for a set? Any online deals via Acurazine? Also can they be adjusted without taking them back off the car?

the perch or the seat, requires to be moved up or down, what I've seen some peeps do is use a spring compressor to compress the spring and raise or lower the seat, I am sure there are other ways tho

checkout neuspeeds website, $600 shipped w/ springs, sell the springs and you got urself koni sp3 struts with 5 perches for under 5bills
