I remember reading about fit and quality issues with the drop in k&n air box filter and was wondering if these problems have been corrected? answers and opinions greatly appreciated!

 

It helps if you state what you are driving

Those of us in Gen 2 cars have no probs with the K&N air filter
It drops in place, has 4 holes where the bolts go thru it into the
box frame- unlike OE or other replacements- it seals tight!

Go K&N!!!

 

do they have a K&N air filter for the 07 tl-s??
if they do please let me know!!!!

 

I bought my K&N filter about 2 months ago. No problems here.
05 TL.

for the Gen2 cars they are $45

Any other years- call local parts store for help

I'm looking for a K&N for the 07 TLS as well. I called K&N and they don't have one yet. I'm checking other companies as well.

 

K&N what? Drop in filter? Intake kit? Be a bit more specific please. I'll drop a line to my guy in K&N to see where the 07 stuff is. (Checked the site and only the oil filter comes up for 07)

he said the 3.2L should be the same but they have yet to confirm fitment. As for the 3.5L they are in development phase. He estimated about 2 months or so before we will see anything more definite. Hope this helps.
