This can be done and done well, here is a civic I built using CLS MT ECU, harness and sensors, runs with no codes or issues. Had to custom make the mani so the hood closes without the pan being on the ground, has AC and PS. Also fabbed a front frame member that bolts between the front tow hooks and also connects radius rods back to the lower control arms which did wonders for wheel hop. 5 lug swapped, rl front brakes, pilot rotors in the rear. Oh, and the engine is stroked out to be a J36. So the swaps can be done without having to give up functionality or usability.

I wanted to go V6 6sp swap in my 92 hatch as well. I have H2B stroked to 2.3L and running 12.7 CR on 91 octane pump gas putting down 220 HP to wheels tuned with eCtune by me so it had plenty more in it.

Man that was a fun car. Can only imagine what a v6 with 240 would have been like.
