bottom line

no UA6 will beat a G35 coupe, unless your F/I'ed or a really heavily modded 6spd

G35 coupe is RWD (no tq steer), 298hp, and 90lbs lighter

UA7 has a chance. especially a 6MT

I'm going to have to disagree with this.

G35 Coupe's dynos at 240'ish WHP depending on weather most of the time, but usually around 243 WHP (7 dyno runs that I've seen). RV6 full exhaust package would get me about 40 WHP (my UA6 TL stock dynoed at 212WHP) which beats the G35 (of course at the end of the day it all depends on the driver and I should have that in the bag)

Technically it is because your not supposed to touch anything before any of the cats but assuming you keep your 3rd cat I doubt anyone will notice. IDK about Canada though.

Could be, but how am I (or most people here) supposed to know the vehicle laws for your locality?

For MY locality it may be, technically, illegal. There is a prohibition along the lines of "altering" the stock exhuast.

For YOUR locality you'll have to look it up or consult with someone who knows local vehicle laws.

It should be illegal in all states since it's a pre-cat modification. You can't touch anything pre-cat without an EO number. The car won't get any dirtier with the J-pipe, it's just the government's way of trying to make more money.

With precats, jpipe and exhaust I pull pretty hard on the G35 6MT.

Oh no you di'int!

I don't care who or what I pull on, I just like the process of improving what it is over stock.
