Hose for Vacuum Lines? For OCC

Hose for Vacuum Lines? For OCC
Just curious, what do you guys use for your vacuum hoses?
I just finished installing my oil catch can and had a problem with the goodyear PCV/EEC hose that I was using. It collapsed right away, I checked the OCC to make sure it wasn't clogged and I can blow right through it.
The hose just isn't up to the vacuum.
Here's my OCC, as you can see no lines coming off it yet, since my hose is no good for this application, I was looking at Silicone hose from silicone intakes in 8mm, but not supposed to use it with oil? Will it be fine for an oil catch can?
I looked at braided PTFE hose too, but its typically made for AN fittings and nothing close enough to 5/16" for the fitting on the intake manifold and valve cover.
So what do you recommend? Should I just go with the silicone hose?
If only I could weld lol .. my bracket would look much better then.

Sounds like the hose you initially used was collapsing because it couldn't stand up to the vacuum pressure.
I use Fuel Line Hose designed for use with a fuel injected engine, works fine with my catch can.

Sorted it out today, picked up some 5/16" gates barricade fuel line. A little oil on the catch can nipples got it to slide right onto the 3/8" fittings.
My OCC has 3/8" but the valve cover & intake manifold seems more like 5/16", 3/8" was really loose.
Thanks.
