High Flow Cats - RV6 Interested Thread

I spoke with Richie the other day; kewl guy, who as all of you know, stands behind all of his products 100%. He threw some numbers out to get the ball moving on a new project: high flow cats! Price: ~$620. He has a bare minimum of deposits needed to get these on the machine, but I thought I was spread the word and see how much interest was around. High flow cats > Pre-cat deletes! I'm tired of constantly watching my rear view mirror!

I think richie would use magnaflow cats which have a warranty of 5yrs/50,000 miles

and I wonder which cat richie would use

I'd use magnaflow 50005 (believe its a 180cid)
or magnaflow 54976 (believe its a 320cid)

not much effect on sound and yes it would pass inspection

I had the e-shit procats on my tl-s and it made the exhaust note slightly deeper but not much difference from stock... top end was nice tho

imo, 180cid would be a waste of money, might as well get the cat deletes since they'll hardly do anything for emission (unless its for visual inspection)..

say whaaat? i'm not sure what this "180 cid" business is, but i'd rather swap the deletes out for high flow cats and not have to worry about getting pulled over, or emissions, etc. is there a downfall that i'm not seeing? the price maybe?
