High flow cat or straight pipe?
I have a 2007 tl type s and i got the mid muffler delete and both resonators deleted. car sounds awsome but i wanted to know if its worth getting a high flow cat or straight pipe it. Also how can it affect my emissions?

With your current setup if you go with straight pipes your ears will either bleed or you will go deaf. Maybe both.
I always recommend high flow cats.
I had straight pipes on my TL with the ATLP quad exhaust and rv6 jpipe.
It droned and rasped horribly. You couldn't even talk to the person sitting next to you on the highway because of the drone.
Driving through small parking lots trying to find a parking spot was embarrassing. Driving under 5mph the car sounded so shitty and obnoxiously loud. Just like those civic owners that make a bunch of noise but aren't even driving fast.
Seeing how you deleted your mufflers and resonators and think it sounds awesome, you might actually be into that stuff.....

High flow cats are the way to go. Not just because of sound reasons as mentioned above. With a straight pipe you'll get black fumes which will smell and dirty up your bumper. The HFC's prevents this. This is assuming your talking about replacing the precats. If you replace those with test pipes, you'll also get a check engine light and have a hard time passing emissions.
The third cat, however, is not monitored by a sensor and can be removed without any real consequences. You'll still have your precats for emissions and won't get any black noxious fumes. We have our catless V2 J-Pipe available for $475 shipped right now!

I too agree with the suggestion of purchasing/installing HFC's over PCD's.
It's come to the point where unless one's absolutely desperate on extracting every last measure of horsepower from the engine, it's not worth the added noise and smell PCD's come along with. Their rasp is nearly untameable and the smell can be unbearable for some.

Do all J Pipes delete the third cat, and what are all the manufactures that make them? And does anyone know if removing the bolt on rear muffler on the driver side will help increase the flow of emissions out of the exhaust?
