HELP! I think I messed up CAI install.

So yesterday I install the Fujita CAI on my TL-S. This morning, I start my car and drive to school. I pop the hood while the engine is running and I see that the engine is leaking coolant. One of the hoses wasn't on tight enough and that caused the leak. I took it to a performance shop and they fixed the leak for free, but now I'm completely paranoid that I did something wrong with the install. And to make things worse, so much coolant leaked that it's all over the engine bay and it's very near the "LOW" mark.

I took some pics of the intake, can anyone tell me if I did something wrong? Mainly I think I might have messed up with the tubing, I still have an extra black tube left that came with the intake. I'm thinking of just buying a whole new intake and having a professional install it this time around. Any help, I'd appreciate it.

look like you forgot to clamp the hose. Just fill it back up with Honda/Acura antifreeze coolant.

Yea, I (stupidly) shortened the hose because it seemed too long, but now I realize that I think I had to remove that whole metal thing that has two lines in it and replace it with the leftover tube I have.

yea, that metal jig in pic 3 is supposed to be completely removed. the metal jig is replaced by the tubes that aem gives you in the box. no big deal. just make sure to replace the lost coolant.

on a sidenote, u can run the cai like that using the stock metal jig. it just looks 10x better when it's removed and replaced by the rubber hoses. also, i think the replacement rubber hoses are slightly bigger so that probably helps flow.

that's weird. i asked fujita if their cai will fit but they told me no. maybe i asked about the wrong model?
the ma-1006 will not fit your car. We are currently looking for tl-s to do prototyping on. If you are local in the so cal area and will be willing to let us use your vehicle, you will get a free intake in return.

Man you didn't follow the directions. I used both rubber hoses that were supplied with the intake. I did cut one shorter though.

Yea I know. The instructions really weren't too clear though. So does anyone know what hoses I should detach and reattach somewhere else, if any?

Well my AEM intake came with 2 hoses and the instructions were very clear.
I can't help you though sorry, its been too long since I did mine. It shouldn't be too hard to take off those factory hoses and attach the rubber ones. You'll lose more coolant though.
