Heads up guys new AEM EMS for j-series

contacted aem about it right now and it is so new (2 week into release) the sales rep doesn't even know what models it is for. i mean hopefully this will work out but beware cause this thing is EXPENSIVE!!

Here it is --> http://www.aemelectronics.com/series-2-ems-for-v6-acura-honda-j-motor-1112

paul, aka nva-av6 is aware of it now and will be talking to them later today to find out if it is compatible or not with our dbw & abs, cluster, etc.

here is the link/thread that will reveal paul's unveiling, research of this new possible EMS compatiability. (remove 2 red x's before searching on google)

If I'm right I'm almost sure it's not compatible with our dbw system which is the only way it will work in our cars then again I could be wrong (wish)....

We will be offereing a stand alone unit for tl as testing is done which takes a while , but it will require a cable operated throttle body and iac for idle functions... wouldn't work with dbw ,but all hardware would be included making it a diy plug and play with base map ..a lot of doubts are in the air as to if this will work and we will get it working along the way hopefully there's more stuff developed for us to enhance our performance mods .....

I've already been talking with P2R on this. They are going to test it on a TL.

i'm lovin the though of a cable operated throttle body
hopefully that kind of setup wouldn't cause any major issues with the pcm... but i wonder if the TPS on the 3g would pick-up a signal from the throttle being opened manually or does it work in conjuction with the DBW sensor on the gas pedal...
