That is a good idea....we were gonna go by MY list (which is how the orders poured in) but going by payment seems like a fair idea.....
I have no idea who the lucky 5 are....I know i gave my spot to Justnspace (as i will not be installing this until later in the Spring)....
I will talk to Rodney and see who all will get the ECU....couple people who ordered the longer harness will be a little later as Rodney is yet to get em in....
will post more details tomorrow after I talk to Rodney....

Don't forget he is also shipping out ECU's to existing customers who need updates.
I got my BT adapter yesterday but haven't tried it yet. Depending on where you installed the ECU, it will stick out a lot. Mine is under the passenger rug and I ordered a serial cable so I can mount it up inside the dash. I am going to plug it in tonight to see how it works.
BTW Sharky. MobiSquirt appears to only support a network adapter with an IP Addy. So this BT adapter won't work right ootb. I looked around to see what support was coming for IOS and they say at least a year or more. They are concentrating on the Android market.

LOL, i could have predicted this.
"Everyone fight to the death, the last one standing gets first dibs on the ECU."
I dont think it was wrong, but more in poor choice to announce publicly that I would get the ECU in the first batch....
Rodney/Swoosh, I really hope you guys do go by the order of the list. that way it is fair.
also, the people that are getting updates should be priority.

I already told Rodney to use his judgement. If the peanut gallery get's ugly, send them out before me.

Is anyone going to dyno before they plug the ECU in and then directly after? This would see how the gains would be from the 'canned' tunes. Then if anyone is doing a 'custom' tune, to have that done after and obviously re-dyno?

^that's exactly what i'm doing.
original run numbers

tweak settings on ECU numbers
drive away happy at 95-100% potential.

^^I believe where Rodney dyno's is a Dynojet , but yeah I wouldn't mind seeing it on a mustang dyno!! But at end of day all dyno is for is to see the gain difference and the gains will be the same regardless what dyno it is...the final numbers will just be different from dyno to dyno...

that's what i did with Rodney when I was there..as you recall I was at 260whp/224lbs before ECU and after I went to 281whp/246lbs...and this is not including the new map adjustment which yielded to 30whp+ in total gains!! so with new set-up I should be above 290whp!....which will be put to the test in the epic thread going on in the Racing section!!
