Email mike to double check if that's meant to be there. When I got mine I thought it was damaged with a small flat spot but it was just fine. I have a feeling that is on all of them so you should be ok

never use your fingernails you're going to scratch the heck out of the crappy acura paint. use a hairdryer and bug and tar remover and u can roll the glue right off with your finger.

If you are talking about the black piece of plastic, most of us either just cut off the overlap or removed the plastic piece entirely.

Is it this damper ? If so, this is just a vibration damper to remove that last 1% of vibration that someone might feel. You will be fine with it removed.

This illustrates where the engine cradle damper is located.

Just installed my V2 J-pipe last night! No issues but I didn't get a chance to really test out my car. Will be doing that tonight along with reseting the ECU.

Johnjohn, how long did it take you to install? I had access to a lift and it took about 20 minutes

You could always just ask Mike about it, he's a good guy that stands behind his products. If its the dampener that Jpipe hooks into, I took that off without any issues as well...

The Engine cradle damper *is* heavy for it's size. It weighs 3.5 lbs.
