GHL Exhaust Update

Hey guys...

I know it has been a while but I want to explain. I have been out of town and also recently found out that my fiancé and I are having our first child. Things have been a little hectic on my end. Jeff at GHL has been dealing with some family stuff as well and very busy. I spoke with Jeff last night and again this afternoon. Test fitting is tentatively set up for Friday, August 25th. If for some reason that day has to get moved the other day would be Saturday, September 8th. I apologize for the delay, our schedules have just been so hectic lately.

I know I will probably take some flack for this taking sooooo long but that's cool. I'm doin all I can and I will continually keep you updated.

Have a great weekend,

Twiggy (Chris)

Looking forward to the product that is developed. Dont feel pressured to make this a priority over other things that are actually more important. Best of luck with the kid.

^^^ Please folks you are like a bunch of kids, no patience, out of 22 posts here only 2 posts are twigglius' pertaining to the matter, everything else is junk including my post, btw I'm interested in the exhaust as much as the next guy, but he is the one who should update this thread on the progress for the exhaust, remember and I'm sure that he will in due time whether there is for a fact a go or no go from the GHL. In the mean time just chill or take it to PM, otherwise you gonna make the mod close this tread too for the lack of substance, only your whines! Please don't flame, no offense meant, just keeping it real and you should tool!

But as with everyone my patience is fading quickly. I'm looking into Comptech just because it is proven to perform and if you think about it, not too expensive. Looks like someone dropped the ball, I know twig had a kid so I'm not faulting that, but it would be nice if he had brought the manufacture on this site to drop crumbs about the exhaust. This was supposed to be "test fitted" a month ago, and nothing has been said about that. Patience has long passed

^Yeah, I know I know I have since goten a Comptech catback which isn't too shabby either yet I still have the interest in all stainless GHL setup and I do agree there shoould be some progress made by now on their part if the exhaust is being made at all if not than they should let everyone know that there will be no exhaust from them.

I don't know about anyone else, but I PM'd twigglius about 2 weeks ago, and I never got an answer. Trust me- I would love to have this exhaust, and I have stated that since day 1, but it's been a month since an update.

Ok guys...I talked with Jeff at GHL Motorsports and the project is still on. They have just run short on R&D time and had to "back burner" the project for a few. They now have more help and will continue working with the OP on this project and say we can expect something within the next few weeks. I would give em a month anyway.

I know how running short on R&D time is when you are working as hard as you can....so give em some slack. It is still a viable project. Mikey

Geez guys! Am I the only one with networking skillz here....lol. Ok...called and talked to Brian today. He says...nope...not even gotten to it yet...but it IS on the back-burner. He said he is at over-capacity on their current sales and production...and good help to produce the quality that they make is non-existant in their market as they do not work with illegals from south of the boarder as they are afraid they will be shut down if they get caught. He stated he has even had some he wanted to hire...good skills....but cant due to status.

This is a company that is in a MAJOR growth spurt IMO and is doing very well and fighting the typical lack of good manufacturing labor in the US. He said we might check back at the end of month to see what he has gotten done by then.

Now, that being said....the company is selling over capacity....dont look for this to happen anytime soon unless there is a shortage of work for em at some point. All that making an additional system would do for them is make the problem worse...if you think about it.

Thats the report I found guys!

Hey Mikey- I sent them an e-mail. So I worked my networking skillz too. If you want I can keep track of this thread and any progress. That leaves one less plate for you to worry about!

Thanks!

Ah..honestly...I am not really tracking this thread that much....nor the original one....but since the question seemed looming with no answer...I figured...what the hell..and called . I usually always try to call as it puts you in their face.

But ya....feel free man! I was just trying to help!

Twigglius, our local tester, is getting married and having a baby... he probably won't be in a TL much longer... Those Odyssey's look awful nice when the kids start coming. I'm blessed to have both a TL and an Odyssey.

I backed off pushing development after the Magnaflow debaucle. I'm done doing "public" development work here on AZ. I'll stick to my own private networking and let proffessionals like Micheal Benz stomach the public BS.

I still hope it happens, and am still a staunch advocate for thier products.

What's goin on guys... Yes I am having a baby and yes I will be getting married. But I will NOT be getting rid of the TL. I am also having hernia surgery tomorrow. It seems that Michael benz has spoken with Brian. I know he said they are really backed up but I promise you guys that I will do my best to keep this thing going. I will speak with Jeff and Brian and see when they can get me in for test fitting. I know things went south before but I assure you guys that GHL is interested in manufacturing this exhaust.

Thanks,

Twiggy (Chris)

Chris, if GHL is interested and you will still be the guinea pig let them know that I would be interested in distributing the exhaust so they don't have to worry about whether the exhaust would sell or not; I'll take a number of units in stock. When the time comes have them contact me if they're interested. They should still have all my dealer info. I set up the account a long time ago in reference to an Audi exhaust I believe but the sale fell through.
