hey guys looking for a chip for my 08 type s saw this g force ad in one of the forums claiming better gas mileage n big hp gains for 69.99 is this legit if not where do you reccommend i get one from

 

I don't know why there's so many of these type of threads about a performance chip. We live in 2013, not in the 1995 of a performance chip. Please look for Hondata Flashpro as your only option of the best tuning solution.

OP since you have a UA7 check out the vendors Heeltoe and Excelerate for the Hondata. However, you should learn to search and research around to get some knowledge on what has been out for our cars and to establish a base line of what you want from your car.

Just to clarify post#6; its only the best solution for the 07-08 models........for now.

I dont understand why everyone is so rough on new guys who are new to modding vehicles. We are a community with common interests and he is simply looking for advice from those of us more experiences with our vehicles.

 

^ I get what you are saying. However, it wont hurt to try and search around to get an idea on how modifying works. Yes like ggesq stated "Not everyone knows the way an online forum works or how to search or performance G chips or whatever they are calling it now works or not," but if you know how to use a computer than you should be able to search around and do some research.

First off just to make everything clear I have a 03 cobra tuned n highly modified all done on my own I will admitt I am new to the import modding scene so I know things are different hence why I'm asking questions trying to learn from you more expirenced guys and this is a forum evil virus meaning you ask questions and get answeres if your unsure lol Jesus this ls a research aid

exactly i have a handheld tuner for mine ahh well im prolly just gonna do rv6 exhaust with rv3 j pype and intake with throttle spacer and maybe turbo next year after i beef up the axles and heard too many horror stories of guys snapping 2g TL axles from too much power

 

^we dont have any aftermarket axles.

if you're going turbo you need to beef up the trans.
both 6mt and auto CANNOT hold the power of 500horses!

we have a really great turbo thread with a couple of turbo guise giving their experience.

also, with your mustang...you have a hand held tuner.
the "g-performance chip" is a little thing that looks like a 1995 stick of RAM.

also, if you take a couple of hours a day to read the past threads, you'll figure out what works and what doesnt work.

If you are planning on a turbo, you are wasting your money on the exhaust parts. It'll all get tossed.

Axles are not the weak link, the tranny is. But, people having issues are running massive amounts of HP and TQ. If you run lower boost and avoid lots of hard launches, it should survive. Hopefully some day it will improve but as you beef up one thing it exposes other weaknesses.

I was going to go ultra high HP myself but until the drivetrain issues are worked out and the recent release of FlashPro, I am going the route of retrofitting so I can get better drivability with my turbo tune. For now, I'll stay in the <10psi range.

As others said, you being a UA7 already, FlashPro is the way to go.

 

True this is a research aid however since you already know how to mod cobras the concept isnt that much different from imports. Since you are trying to learn then read up on our forums because there is so much information on this topic and other topics as well. Nothing wrong with asking questions however it will be pointless not to utilize the forums first by searching around and getting some type of concept of any particular mod you are trying to do. Peolpe here can and are willing to help but you have to help yourself too.
