Fujita F5 Short Ram
Ok so I was really hessitent to chop up my $200 intake. When i took the filter off the cold air system and saw how wet it was i didnt want to chance sucking water in my engine. So basically i just cut the lower 9 inches of tubing, and the vibra mount off, glued the metal plate back on and hooked it up. Since i couldnt hook the breather up to the intake tube i bought a 1/2 inch diameter air filter cone from the parts store and clamped it on the flange on the rear valve cover. Fit and finish is great, although i will probably buy the AEM V1 with the water block when i get some extra cash. Since its been raining for the last 2 days i haven't gotten a chance to really test the performance aspect, but so far it feels about the same, let me know what you guys think.

short ram is good for mid range torque... cold air intake is all topend... neither is good low end except for the aem v2...
there have been rumors that the heat will result in lower gas mileage.... I don't beleive it... but you should custom make a heatshield over the filter a la ebay status

Here are some installed pics, and i will probably get the heat shield for the summer. I'm not sure if it will really make a difference now since its like 30 degrees in NC.
