well its taken ALOT of patience, but all the hard work and dedication i put into getting these produced has finally paid off.

pics!!!!

side mount w/ billet alum top bracket. aint she a beaut!

installed,

coupled with the front and rear

like i said in my original post, the ones i have are raw and just spray painted. the base and holders will be fully powdercoated the patent innovative dark grey color with the exception of the billet alum top piece on the side mount. instead of starting a whole other GB thread, ive decided to keep it here for less confusion (and work lol)

NEW OFFICIAL GB PRICE IS NOW.....$315.00 shipped (includes paypal fee's too!

money order and cashiers check accepted also

thats a far cry than the 400.00 me and a group of others paid in a GB a year ago (6th gens mainly) which only included the front and rear =/

deposits of 100.00 or the full amount (which ever you prefer) will be needed by sat 5/31/08, so that gives you guys a couple of weeks. once the deposits are delivered to innovative, turn around time will be 3-4 weeks (give or take), in which time the full amount will be do.

Wow, they look fantastic. Talk about vibration, how noticeable is it vs stock? Did you leave the torque dampner on or does it become obsolete at this point?

oh man, i cant believe how smooth the car is, especially after installing the side mount. it was the missing link if you jumped in my car, you would never suspect i had any sort of engine mounts, the vibration is so slight. its one of those things where you'll forget its there after a couple of days.

slamming through the gears is sooo nice now with the added throttle response you get with them too! these mounts score a 10 out of 10 in my book

BTW, i dont think you'll really need it with these mounts, but it wouldnt hurt to run both anyways

forgive the n00b, but wtf do these do? transfer more of the engine's power to the axle by reducing the damping?

SRT-11,

With every force applied, there's always an equal & opposite force. As an engine/transmission assembly transfers its rotational force to the wheels, an opposite force seeks to rotate the motor in the opposite direction...wrenching it from its mounts if it could. The engine mounts server as a softening buffer to absorb some of this force. In the process however, accepted is a certain amount of engine movement. Also, many cars aren’t designed to handle horsepower upgrades which put added stress on the stock motor mounts. Consequently, factory stock mounts can result in wheel hop which in extreme cases could prove damaging to one’s transmission. Heavier duty mounts reduce engine movement which also provides for quicker response/transfer of power to the wheels.

Heavier duty mounts reduce engine movement which also provides for quicker response/transfer of power to the wheels.

very good write up i coulnt have said it better myself. ive had 2 tranmissions, fall victim to deadly wheel hop so far my original accord 6spd and a 04 TL 6spd. now i have a 05 TL 6spd trans with low miles and hope this one will last

thats why i worked so hard in getting the torque damper and now these mounts produced. these damn transmissions cost too much

i dont think it makes anything suffer... this car is very very precise.....like its made to work without shifting the drivetrain.....plus the plastic thats used on the redesigned mounts im sure softens up from the engine heat a lil to give play....not like the ones we currently have that when they heat up feel like goo and are literally made to break.

none whatsoever. i cant express to you how good these mounts are. maybe we can setup a little meet, so some of you local guys can see for yourself and post your take on them

you guys can all take turns going for a ride lol.

SIDE NOTE:

i think sombody here assumed these will be priced the same as the earlier 99-03 tl/cl kits, without really checking through innovative first. innovative sells these earlier kits for 299.00 + tax (if applicable) + shipping. these newer style 3rd gen mounts are much more complicated, especially the way the side mount is designed with the billet top piece. innovative specifically told me that this kit will be selling for 349.00 + tax + shipping (50.00 more) upon there future release date.

ive put all my blood and guys into making these mounts a reality guys. my car has has felt the pain too, from the first set breaking on me to the countless times ive taken them in and out to get them right. when the first set broke, i litterally drove my car with no front and back mounts (SIRSIG and a few others can attest to that) and could rock the engine back and forth with your hand. i bent my jpipe, tore my exhaust hanger and badly dented the procat because of this my car was like this for a couple of months until innovative designed the second set, which turned out to be the finalized kit.

heres a pic of when my engine wanted to jump out of the compartment

04accordcpe-My car feels like it jumps after letting of the clutch shifting from 1st to 2nd. Is that a symptom of my motor mounts going bad? If so, I'm definitely on the purchase list for these mounts.

GOOD NEWS, price lowered for you guys!!!

$315 shipped which includes paypal fee's too!!

heres the deal, after having a nice long talk with innovative this morning, i was able to negotiate some better prices for myself, which in turn, allows me to offer these mounts to you guys at the absolute minimum pricing. innovative follows very strict rules and does not allow ANY of their dealers/distributors (me included) to sell them below 10% off the list price PERIOD. this is the reason you wont find them cheaper anywhere now and later. not to mention i have dibs on the very first production run so you guys will have them first. they mentioned the shipping cost would be left to me, so why not keep it free!

FIY, they set the price for the kit at 349.00 + tax + shipping upon their release date, so you'll save a minimum of 50.00 on up here, depending on where you live.

lastly, i just want you guys to know i worked my butt off getting this done and my sole purpose of this GB, is to try and recoup all the blood, sweat and tears, i poured into r&ding, into making these mounts a reality. every penny came out of my own pocket and my car has felt the pain too. from the first set breaking on me, to the countless times ive taken them in and out trying to get them right. when the original set (f&R) broke, i drove my car like this for months until innovative designed the second set, which turned out to be the finalized kit. you could litterally rock the engine back and forth with your hand lol. i bent my jpipe, tore my exhaust hanger and badly dented the procat because of this

this is what happens when a mount completely breaks on you. my engine wanted to jump right out

the supercharger pulley ate right through the hood lining

so, for those of you that paid in full (if any) i will reinburst you the difference.

oh, did i mention these have a lifetime warranty too?

the deadline will remain the same, so you still have a full 2 weeks to send your deposit in then we'll get things moving!

thanks guys

Timing/$$ not gonna work out this time around.

Nice work though.

I'll keep an eye out for future production/GB's.

definetly no dealer.

i think if you bring it to a good shop, they should charge you no more than $150-$200 max. DIY, id rate it medium/hard

mine took about 1 1/2 hours. front one is cake, the rear one is a PITA. not so much unbolting everything, cause its easy to do especially with some long extensions. the hard part is trying to take the mount out itself. you have to lift the engine, shimmy and turn it just the right way to slide it out of there. if you want to make life easier, your better off taking out the half shaft, then it will pop right out.

after that, its smooth sailing. the new mounts arent bulky like the stock ones, so they slip right in no problem.

What spots did you jack the engine up from?

I post in this thread asking what the difference is between this product and the one in black market and it magically disappears with no explanation.

Then all of a sudden, the price drops to get closer to the other.....what's going on here????
