What's up guys. Im new to the forum, and let me just say it is awesome. Everything Ive always wanted to know about my car is in here somewhere. This thread caught my eye cause the wheel hop in these things is nasty once you break loose. I have just ordered a blower from comptech and I think these mounts might be needed. Are the vibes real bad? Id like to keep the car somewhat luxery still, but I like to drive fast too. If anyone has them or has had them on another car is it real uncomfortable or what?

ive gone through 2 fronts, 1 rear, and a half dozen side mounts myself, in the three years ive owned my car

these mounts will pay for themselves, especially if you plan on keeping your car for awhile.

shouldnt be too complicated. my mechanic did some mounts on my friends 2G CL-S... took a few hours, but didnt have to pull the engine out. it was just a BITCH to get to the mounts, remove an re-mount the new ones

shouldnt be too much. expect to pay around 150-200 tops. its about a 2-3 hour job.

like i said in my earlier posts, the only real PITA is gettin the rear mount out. worse case scenerio, you have to pull out the half shaft.

the shop that did mine didnt have to do that, but they had to jack the engine up as much as they can to shimmy the rear one out of there. after that, its smooth sailing. the innovative mounts are smaller and more compact than the stockies, so they slip right in there

Looks like these might fit the 08 accord 3.5, from the schematics they look similar... might be in if the price is right, any thought to using urethane with a specified/custom durometer(hardness) instead of normal poly that is in yours... like these?

they are a bit more upscale/durable.

innovative called me today and said the side mount will be ready for pick up wednesday. i have a very busy work schedule this week, but ill try to get some time off and get this thing moving

holy shit put me down for 10 of them! lmao..... i was actually gonna go to VW this weekend and get the '08 R32 side motor mount and develop something of my own.... they are very similar but the r32's MM is massive. i never even thought of using the ingalls stiffy for the damper on the tranny.... now i wanna know dont the front n rear motor mount on our cars have pipes running to them?

tomarrows the day!!

i left my afternoon open and going to head down to innovative, so they can install the finished product, make sure everything is good to go and finalize the kit. pics, prices and official GB thread will be up and running by the end of the day tomarrow
