few new mods and finally ENGINE MOUNTS!
i posted this up on v 6 perfmnce so i copy and pasted it. thought you guys might be interested since everything you see will fit the tl too
some new mods had everything installed yesterday, didnt finish till 130am :o
i got my engine mounts FINALLY!!
0 wheel hop! tires just slide and go. for those of you interested in these beware. first off they are a @%#! to install and they could have been designed alot better. cc auto had to modify them a bit to fit them in. they made both the rear and front mounts the same, but the rear should have been a little different. innovative slipped with there r&ding on these mounts. so if you decide on purchasing these, be sure to have a grinder and ALOT of patience.
my broken engine mount, next to custom one.
racing axles from gator
jpipe, 2.5 all the way through from primaries to collector, i know i know, its ugly but affective.
rsx type s injectors 310cc straight bolt ons.(solved my leaning problem)
and a brief clip of a short run on the dyno today. the jpipe completely changed the sound of my exhaust. i dont know if i really like it so im going to get a resonator installed.
im going back to church auto tomarrow morning. shawn had to leave suddenly and had another guy tune my car. he tuned both my emanage ultimate and emanage blue to see which gave me better results. something didnt go right so i have to go back tomarrow morning so shawn can retune it and work a few bugs out. its running a bit rich and the emanage blue tune pings a little at partial throttle. ill post some #'s tomarrow.

We're glad to have you aboard here on acurazine sharing info about the motor and other interchangable components between the TL and Accord.
Have you thought about doing the custom intercooler ?

Yea Tim from Innovative told me he was releasing the 7th gen Accord mounts. I figured they would bolt up to the TL but I wanted to wait for their release before I annonced them here. The 6th gen Accords/ 2nd gen CL/TL's are just getting released now too.
Kennedy I can tell you from experience on other cars that the Innovative polyurethane bushings are top notch. There is significant reduction in engine movement with very little vibration noticed in the cabin. They have 3 different grades of polyurethane. 60A, 75A, and 85A

I would recommend 60A for DD's and 75A only if you don't mind some vibration in the cabin and you're looking for virtually no engine movement.

Bluesaps is right tho, with a nice tight suspension, and poly engine mounts, you'll never have wheel hop again. Talk about a FWD burnout dream...
The cabin vibration should only be felt under hard acceleration as well, as that's when the engine is leaning hard into the mount/body... idling and cruising it's just floating.
I'd really be intererested in a set of these if they get the kinks worked out.

Three Wheelin'
I guess if you've driven a V8 or higher and are ok with the vibrations, then this mod won't feel bad at all...
After driving some AMG's and V12's, I think I'd be cool with vibrations from these...

i couldnt have explained it any better. the vibration can get pretty bad though with the fans and ac on all at the same time.
WARNING!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT i repeat DO NOT buy gator glen racing axles!!!!! they are a fucking joke!!!! me and one other guy running NOS both went to the track last saturday, both first time with gator axles and both on our first runs BOOM, broke the splines on the inside. heres a vid of me

michael, trust me this is nothing like your pipe. yours had one pipe going into another and crush bends. this one was made by mzauto. i was going to buy one from them awhile back, but went with the procats instead. they charge 450.oo O_o to make this pipe, but if you see it you'll know why.
its 2.5 piping from cats, all the way to 3rd cat. only way to accomplish that feat was to cut up a straight pipe into pie shaped pieces (which is very time consuming) and weld together for a smooth transition. it also uses a "Y" pipe which works the best to transition 2 pipes into one.

Thanks! Looking to change mine out in the near future as well.

for the mounts, you will have to grind down the top part of the arrow thinner to get it to fit in the hole. the rear mount should have been made differently then the front for sure, but you can still make it work.
