exhaust emissions+ sprint booster?

hey guys im having some trouble figuring out whats legal and not with exhaust parts all these exhausts threads got my head spinning and also i have a quick question regarding the spring booster.

onto the easier question: what does the sprint booster do and is it recommended? what are some personal thoughts and reviews?

2nd one: how can i achieve a deeper growl(kinda like the G35)without sounding like a civic with a hole in the exhaust, not be TOO loud(a lil roar never hurt nobody and still have my car pass emissions?

should i get a j-pipe?

this is for a TL-s with AT transmission

Leave the catalytic converters alone and you will be fine.

From what I've been reading on the site, stg.1 and stg.2 are not very aggressive with loudness, but gives you a nice tone/little louder than stock.

Check this out for stages: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...589747&page=42 Post #1672 has some videos/info

Like subinf said, just leave your cats alone and you'll pass emissions just fine.

And I have no idea what a sprint booster is.

ok so i looked at that link and that gave me a better idea of things.

for my stage 1 i should get replace my mid muffler for a ss straight pipe

and from the videos in that link i dont know how loud stage 3 is. but it sounds nice from that tl-s video i think i should skip stage 2 and get the 12" resonator from dynomax hopefully i can find a ss version.

if i get a j-pipe where would that go or replace?

Sprint booster does the same thing as pushing farther on the gas pedal. It does not add power.

It modifies the throttle signal so that when you push the pedal say 25% it opens the throttle 50% to make the car feel faster. The problem here is that you can only open the throttle 100% so it does nothing for power. In other words, save your money and just push harder on the pedal.
