Hey guys I’m thinking of doing an electric exhaust cutout on my 07 TL type s. I will be installing it on my midpipe after the resonator. I believe the stock diameter is 2.25” for the midpipe but it’s very hard to find a cutout this size. Any suggustions on a brand/model? I don’t want to cheap out and end up with a cutout that doesn’t work well but I also don’t really want to spend $500 for a QTP cutout. All of the affordable ones I found are 2.5 or 3”. Any suggestions?
Also, I will have coilovers on the car very soon so I will need something with enough ground clearance so it doesn’t scrape.

Keep us in the loop if you find answers, I'm also exploring the idea.

I have a Stage 3 exhaust right now and will be switching my mufflers for some Magnaflows next spring, but I just love how a straight-after-resonator exhaust sounds like (see vid below). Just don't want to have that sound every time I jump in the car since it's my daily and there most likely will be drone.

Found this one from NXT LVL MOTORS in Calgary: PERFORMANCE WORLD 429226 2.25" REMOTE ELECTRIC EXHAUST CUTOUT KIT (SINGLE)
It pretty much has all the standard hardware needed plus a keyfob instead of a switch.

So far it's the only place I found in Canada. Might get mine from there. You could find cheaper with a switch, though I haven't found any so far in Canada.
