A.E.M Intakes, Carb Legal in CA?

I have a question about intakes for the TL...

how come there are 2 vacuum holes for the intake, and one of the holes is plugged by a bolt? i was pulled over by a cop in Poway, CA and the gave me a bunch of shit for it. He even called in back up to have a "modified-car specialty" cop inspect my car... he said that all vacuum tubes must be connected to the intake... so i bullshitted him and showed him the vacuum line behind the intake and told him my intake (aem v2) was made for an accord and there are 2 locations for the vacuum line... they took a picture of my engine bay and let me go. here's a pic i borrowed from another thread for a visual guide.

Does yours have the CARB sticker on it like the one in the pic?
The reason I ask is mine didn't. I had to contact AEM, and they sent me one.
To answer your question the other plug is for the IAT sensor (intake air temp). When you hook this up it actually voids CARB approval.

isn't one for the sensor or something? It should be a bolt in one of them and the other one is a hose. Print out the AEM intake install and carry it with you. I have that with me at all times. Legal paper work = GTFO. lol Don't worry I live in CA also.

I don't have a picture since I never hooked mine up that way, but IIRC there is a picture in the install instructions , so if you think this will happen again, do what thisaznboi88 recommended.
