Corsport Shifter Bushings

I search and search and found nothing. Just want to know if any aziners installed these bushings if so do they make a difference and is the install difficult? I have a 6spd and wouldnt mind it to be stiffer and more accurate.

Thanks

a few guys installing the bushings a year or two ago and said the shifts were a lot firmer and better, however they used RSX bushings or some other acura ones.

I bought a set and tried to installed it myself but it was a pain taking out the old rubber bushings.. Im ganna ask my friend at a shop to help me install it when I get something done there..

I had them on my old car and it does make a difference. Maybe not a BIG difference, but u will definitely feel a smoother, more accurate shifting. Not saying the current ones are bad or anything but its a upgrade in shifting feel.

I have them, and honestly, they make absolutely NO difference. The only way these would make a difference is if your stock shifter bushings were in any way worn out. If you do change them out, you at least know that the bushings will never wear out, since aluminum can't wear out. The stock bushings are rubber, but it'll take A LOT of shifts for these to wear out. If both are new, OEM=Aftermarket.

Oh, btw, Cor Sport used to be a banned company on this forum. I guess they're ok now?

So I assume getting this and the Comptech SS would make an awesome combo--along with the SynchroMesh?

That's exactly what I did! Probably the best mod you can do for a 6-speed for under $150.

This is what I have, too.

Like I said, if both are brand new, you will NOT notice a difference.

Maybe I didn't notice because I only had a couple thousand miles on the car when I put them on?

Its uncommon for new cars to change them out so u might not feel a difference. but at least u know it wont wear/tear.

Did u install them yourself?

No, I had someone install them for me, but it took all of 4 minutes. He used his hands, no tools. If you put enough pressure on them, they'll pop out.

Thanks for the inputs. I went ahead and ordered the bushings, its on back order but it will be instock next week. I have comptech SS and using royal purple 5-20 tranny fluid so it will be good to add these bushings.

thanks

I had them installed a couple months ago and honestly I cannot feel a difference. I have had the CT short shifter since I bought the car and that is the best mod when it comes to shifter feel.

We have sold and installed these on a number of TLs and TSXs. The short shifter and corsport shifter bushing combo is so insanely good...it will transform your shifter.
