Comptech Supercharger Groupbuy
Hello. For those of you who don't know me I am an Official Vendor for Acurazine. My name is Josh and my company is Excelerate. The Comptech Supercharger kit for the 04+ TL has been released and I would like to begin a groupbuy. This will work as a real groupbuy. I will be making a list and once I have at least 3 buyers then the first wave will go out. In order to get on the list I will need a deposit and I will discuss those details. MSRP on this kit is $4495. If I get 3 buyers I can do $3950 shipped on each kit. From the order time to ship time should only be a few weeks as I have already confirmed ordering status with Comptech. Start the list..

Once I have a number of interested ones the GB will become official and I will discuss deposits.

Ok, guys. I have seen enough interest in this thread to make it an official groupbuy. Comptech Supercharger Kit Groupbuy
The deposit will be 50% of the total. The reason for this is that it requires a lot of money to even purchase one unit, so several units will wipe out my bank account. So I have to have some cash flow up front to offset the final costs. Thanks.

I got 2 questions before I go through with the purchase.
Can we use our existing AEM intake or do we need to use comptechs intake in order for everything to fit right?
Also, will this void any factory warranties?
Thanks

What else would you recommend getting with this supercharger. Tranny cooler and after tranny cooler. I am pretty sure I read that you will need to get these two to keep your trans in good shape. Nice price, I am definately thinking about it.

I have two issues with buying one- 1.) I have an intake manifold spacer, outlaw engineering thermoblock spacers-will they work or will I have to take them off. 2.) What about the throttle body spacer?
They are 'thermoblock' spacers, so they're probably only a 1/4 - 3/8 inches thick. So my throttle body sits a 1/4 inch too high, and a 1/4 inch too long? what do you think? will the pulley still be inline with the belt? will the belt still fit around the pulley?

You are correct. The manifold spacer will fit (I had it installed on mine) but the throttle body spacer will not.

Although it might fit if you're modifying the intake plumbing before the throttle body. Say if you were using a modified Injen intake. In your modifications you could plan for the different throttle body positioning.
