Comp tech Supercharger rough idle and won't go past 3k rpm?
SO I installed the comptech supercharger on my 2005 acura tl and it idles rough in park. In drive and reverse it is fine. I have a feeling it is the air/ fuel mixture as there is also a gas odor coming from the exhaust. Also when driving car does not accelerate past 3k rpm.
Also car now has a rev limiter at 3k rpm, is that normal?
Any suggestions

I am using the comp tech ACM. Unless i hooked it up wrong i don't know. I hooked up the ACM to the "E" port and soldered the green wire and the white/ green wire to the green/ red wire at D5. My only guess would be the fuel pressure regulator is the issue but would that explain why it won't rev past 3k?
Locate the Green/Red wire at pin #D5 and cut the wire about
2” from the connector. Using the solder splice connectors, connect the Green wire from the ACM to the Green/Red going to the ECM and connect the White/Green wire from the ACM to the Green/Red wire going to the engine.
