Coming soon to 3G TL from ATLP
#164
Alright Aziners,
Jan 26 I go test fit and dyno the jpipe yall been waiting for with Marcus. I will take pics and all that good stuff. Once it's installed I'm just gonna drive off with it and take a road trip so everyone can see it, feel it, touch it and make love to it. Up to you.

Back from Church Auto Testing...and we got some really interesting data...not what we were expecting!
We were testing for SEVEN HOURS. Still got to sort through the data to know what the next step is. The long and the short of it...we narrowed down some decisions. And we are not going to recommend the same j-pipe for all TLs.

You acurazine guys are crazy!!! I got their an hour early just like marcus did waiting for church's to open up at 10. I had my kids with me so I didnt take photos. I was busy putting my hands over thier ears so they didn't go deaf from all the vehicles being dynoed and tuned. Also making sure my kids didnt run into the street or touch all the hot jpipes being tested. Don't worry Marcus brought his camera and filmed.
Marcus asked me not to divulge any information until he tallies up all the jpipe dynos. Good news is that he took footage of the different set-ups. Yes he tested more than one jpipe. Marcus did plenty of R&Ding with his pops to help him out. It was a loooong day.
Dyno - Church's dyno uses the dynapak. You can't get more accurate than that.
How I judge the jpipes? (Not ranked in any order)
1. Fit and finish - This is more for quality of the jpipe from welds to the smoothness of the inside of the pipe.
2. Performance of the jpipe which is #1 in most eyes. I was shocked when I saw what the numbers were and there def was a winner.
3. Sound. I have a ATLP Base cat back exhaust already on my car and the different jpipes def made different sounds. Marcus should have videos pretty soon for you guys to hear. I again chose the same jpipe for sound and performance.
I am not biased when it comes to supporting heeltoeauto. I didnt spend the last 8 yrs to suck somebody's balls just cause they own a auto performance company. So my opinion is based solely on the numbers I saw and what I heard and what I felt. I like to see shit with my own eyes and ears. So with all that being said; Marcus has all the dyno graphs, videos and all that good stuff and you guys can be the judge. Once he puts out his numbers I will put out my opinion. All of you gentlemen that live in socal are more than welcome to make an appt with me later on in feb when I actually have the jpipe and test drive it for yourself if you know how to drive a manual.

GTMaxx I love the ATLP Base exhaust. The quads are the same just different tips. I don't have a resonator and love it. The jpipe is not going to give you a second off your quarter mile time and your not going to feel like you driving in a corvette zr1 but a jpipe is a great bang for your buck and Im just glad there are companies actually putting effort towards the 3GTL.
WE ALL KNOW ACURA HASN'T - With my awesome cracked ass dashboard, Sorry its not covered under warranty (f**k you acura) My awesome shitty stereo system, the awesome leather that sucks donkey balls, all we have left is the jpipe oh yeah and the stock jpipe looks like some fat girl sat on it and its a bitch to put back on.
