Can anyone uninstall a CAI in Boston?

I have an AEM CAI on my 05 TL but I've been getting worried about hydrolocking the engine so I'd like to go back to stock. Can anyone in the Boston area help me out for this? I'd be willing to pay for your help with this.

Let me know!

Thanks,
Nick

ur not gonna hydrolock unless you dive in a river and floor it.... look...ud have to completely dip the filter in water at WOT to hydrolock...simple rain and moisture doesnt do anything...even if the filter gets a little wet, only thing it will do is, create a bit of a restriction for the air until it dries up

im slammed to the floor, the filter sits very low, i even have the vent cut exposing the filter...driven in the heaviest rains....never a problem

Agreed on what OPel says. YOu have to factor how much intake velocity it takes to suck up enough water to hydrolock an engine and it takes a lot lol.

Very true, I wouldn't be worried unless your flooring it through standing water LMFAO. I've been in Jerzy with some heavy rain falls where the streets in Jersey City/Newark and other places are flooded and what not. You just have to take it easy and be smart about it. Just baby the throttle, and keep moving.

Yea don't take ur car scuba diving lol...I think if u manage to hydrolock the car in the rain, you shouldn't be driving...heck I've even floored it through heavy rain plenty of times, making full boost..no problems...I think its more of hearing someone mention it and suddently ur scared of hydrolocking...I don't get it
