I have K&N Typhoon. I didn't notice any power difference, but I didn't buy it for power. I like the sound. Has a slight whistle to it when gradually gaining speed and especially in between gears.

the overexplainer
i think they both use dry filters..if the K&N doesnt, get the AEM. That's pertty much it..for the dry filter and a few lbs in weight reduction.
I like the whistle on my original AEM CAI (non V2).

Why choose the two most expensive intakes??
A Cold Air Intake is just a metal tube with a filter. I've seen 36$ Ebay intakes work fine when compared with the name brands. I bought the 126$ shipped cold air intake by DC sports from Ultrarev.com. I'm very happy with it, and I'm sure I would have been equally happy had I bought AEM, Injen, K&N, Fujita, etc. Plus, being 40% of the price of these brands, the intake from DC Sports had quality seals, a high performance dry filter, many accessories, and 2 stickers!!
