braille battery for s/c car
 

Does anyone roll a braille battery in their car? I just got my supercharger and need to get the 51R battery. I was hoping one of the s/c guys might be runing the braille battery. Any info on this 51R battery would be great.

Contact Inaccurate, he runs a mini lightweight battery, though he is no S/C'ed.

I think acuratein is runnin a braille relocated to the rear no idea if he plugged it in yet

I realy want the braille battery but I can't find the size of this 51R battery to compare to the braille interms of size and output. The guy at Jegs said they have a Optima in the 51R size but if braille makes one I would rather go with them. If any S/C'ed guys see this please tell what you are running.

My optima 51R crapped out on me. I would stay away from it.

What about the odyssey battery? its smalllll... like 4 or 5 inches

yeah, I heard optimas suck ass. I had an AUTOLITE 51R and I think that's even worse! I killed it in a few months. Got an interstate 51R waiting to go in and I will supplement with a small dry-cell in the trunk for the stereo.. I hear Interstate is the best you can get for 51R batteries.

I picked a braille 15lb battery up from a place called BSR Products. Their warehouse is right down the road so i went there and braille offers a few choices of batteries in terms of weight and size. I got the second from the largest they offer, i think the largest is 21lbs. They also have some carbon fiber wrapped ones which retail for 40/50 bucks more than the standard ones. I can't comment on how well it works because its sitting in the trunk, with no positive or negative cables connected to it.

Interstate 51R is good shit, recommend :thumbsup:
