Fuck, I don't even care about you supercharging your car at this point...
I'm just excited there's an Acurazine member that isn't fucking lazy, full of shit, and actually gets off his ass and does some research and follows through.

Thanks man! I'm happy someone is rooting for me!

If anyone is interested, last year I did a Mercedes S550 2007 because I thought it would make me look cool. Glad I kept my Acura TL! The S-class is an older mans car.

The thread/car was listed in numberous times in a few publications like Carauthority.com. Good times!

Buy rdx 410cc injector and the clips. Or you can go larger injector if you wish. Might want to add water methanol injector since there is no after cooler for the s.c. 1 step colder spark plug, transmission cooler, and maybe a. Rebuild kit for the s.c if it hasn’t already been done.

Why would I need 410cc injectors on 5psi boost?

- AEM Water/Methanol kit arriving Dec. 27 ---> https://www.ebay.com/itm/SALE-AEM-Water-Methanol-Injection-Kit-V2-Internal-MAP-with-1-Gallon-Tank/302564686540?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid =p2057872.m2749.l2649
- Denso Iridium IK24 plugs will be here Dec. 22
- I tried looking for a tranny cooler today at Comptech and there's is for the 99-03 TL. Can anyone point me where I can get the best price for a 2008 TL?
- No need for rebuild kit as this blower has 15k miles on it and came off a show car(said the ebay seller of high volume and great reviews) - Hey its not a junkie this time!

Because you are going to run Out of injector unless you want to do the ghetto crush fuel pressure regulator and bump it up 10 psi. Stock is 310cc and is around ~70 duty cycle. With the supercharger it will probably be around 90% without crushing the fuel pressure regulator. It’s states to do so in the comptech install manual, and they provide the tool with the kit also when new. And since you have an 2007 TL you just need the rdx injectors no pig tails needed.

Go go on amazon and get a B&m universal trans cooler and a magnafine in-line filter while you are at it.

Do I need to use their tool to crush it? does anyone have the tool or know where I can get it? I'm not looking to change injectors yet. I want to make sure the s/c system is up and running. They are quite cheap on Ebay so after its up I will do that.

Do I need pigtails for the Acura TL 2008? (thats the year I own)

Why would I need a tranny filter if Ive got one already? Ive got a NIB tranny filter aswell if need be.

Azn is right, you might as well buy the RDX injectors & uprgrade the fuel pump; crushing the fuel pump regulator will only get you so far. Jonbondpeformance rebuilt by SC when I bought it used, you never know about someone else's work; IMO. As for the battery, just buy a universal battery kit & relocate it to the trunk, I tried using a smaller battery; wasn't worth it, just better & easier to relocate it to the trunk. What you really need is the alternator bracket to bolt the SC down, had a shop custom make mine bc CT didn't have it; some of the parts you can custom make on your own & some of the bolts you can find like a pepboys. Radiator hose I had to custom make using 2 different radiator hoses.

Thanks! I'm hoping CT has an alternator bracket in stock, if not ill have one fabed up. When did you inquire if they had one?

I'll buy they Uni. trunk kit. Where is a good place to go for a fuel pump? If they don't have the radiator hose I'll fab one. did you use a coupling to put them together? Any leaks?

Do not buy the eBay rdx injectors. They are fake and will blow your motor. Get them from a legit vendor or from Acura. There are videos on YouTube about fake rdx eBay injectors. Scary stuff....

Would you send me pictures of your setup please? I'm curious to know how you have it set up.

I bought my universal kit from Summit racing: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/s...31-k/overview/. I inquired about parts from CT back in 2015; its just hard to play email tag w/ Nate; sometimes it will be awhile before he get back with you. Theres a thread on here about upgrading the fuel pump, I had to custom fab my fuel cage for the bigger pump. But yeah, all the information you need is on here, did my build from researching it all. I have the fuel pressure tool if you decide not to upgrade your pump; but I recommend doing it. I also got a 3in diameter pulley; which I believe was making 3-4lbs of boost for me; only because I have a lightened underdrive pulley which I believe is not stock size.

You can do the 65c dw fuel pump, but it should be needed with the rdx injectors. I ran them on my return less fuel system and oem pump. Not ideal, but it worked

Ill buy that kit. It has a box and a ventilation kit. way better than the ebay ones.

May I borrow the tool? can I up the pressure to 10PSI before the S/C install?

Lemme look & see if I can find it. You need to have a baseline to see what size pulley is making how lbs of boost, then you can go up from there. But from what I read on here, I believe 2.7in is the max pulley which supposedly makes 10lbs of boost, anything smaller than 2.7in you're overspinning the SC & losing performance. For me, the 2.7in pulley I have is only making 6lbs. of boost for me. I had a 2.4in pulley made for me to make 10lbs, but on the wall about installing it, I'm looking for longevity out of my TL.

I just bought the Battery relocation kit you suggested!

From the looks of it, its a standard pulley. Perhaps making 5psi? How long have you been running your 6psi pulley? Any tranny issues?

Where did you hook up your battery vent?

I've had the pulley on for about a year now, each year I try to go up. But like I said, I'm still effy about putting on the 2.4in pulley. Each year is a hastle getting the TL to pass inspection, I have to revert back to stock. Plus tuning & data recording, etc, there a lot that goes into maintenance & tuning. I have a manual TL so I lucked out, but I would look into a transcooler. Theres a vent where the rear taillights are, I just stuck the tube there to vent. The methanol kit really does help out though, especially during the summer.

Your welcome man! Thanks for the support! I just want a build that we all built together! A true Azine build!

I need to upgrade the fuel pump and injectors. What about the exhaust from the headers? What size/brand(cost effective) should I use for the most quiet ride Yet free-eat flow? I'm shooting for around 400whp. Will my tranny keep up with that? I drive like a gramps.

Even with the upgraded 2007-2008 automatic transmission in your car, I'm thinking 400 WHP (meaning 460-500 hp at the crank) will be pushing things.

for exhaust you can use ATLP or XLR8 J pipe, Richey RV6 got a good gain also but I am not sure if they still in production. There is no header in our TL since they are cast into the block, what you are looking for is PCD Pre Cat Delete or highflow precat (2 of them total one on each bank) and follow those is the Jpipe normally with those two alone you should gain about 10-15 whp depend on AT or MT.

You would not make 400whp on a comptech supercharger even with full bolt on. Maybe around 300whp even then that is on the high side since you have an AT. Gerzard rotrex sc can do 400whp+ easy. He has a few YouTube video from different customer car. Also If you want to make 400+whp rdx injectors won’t be enough. For the Fuel pump upgrade the 65c should be a direct drop in, but then you will have to start thinking about repluming the fuel likes to make it a return system, and also upgrading the fuel rails to make sure a cylinder doesn’t starve.

also you might want to look at getting hfpc or PCs since the increase Exhaust temps will start to fry oem cats

6mt TL comptech dyno

j32 swap accord ct supercharger 6mt

this is andy car on low boost

his car at 15psi

Won't a j-pipe make my car very loud? does the jpipe get rid of precat?

I Want to not have a MIL in my face as I drive around.

Will I be able to pass emissions in Washington after I install the s/c? Or will I have to remove it

^ you need to do more reading if you have to ask if the J-pipe will make the car louder or throw a CEL. The simple answer is no to both. You can search the forum if you want details on why it is a no. And you will pass emission since the comtech S/C has a CARB OE# sticker, but it really depends on how you tune it.

Jpipe won't make your car louder nor throw a CEL, HFPC is what you looking for both of these give you gain without issue but that depend where you go for inspection. I know guy down here TX come to a shop with drag radial tires with a chute in the back and still pass "inspection" lolol.

In page one I had a question about bottlenecking at the exhaust manifolds. If I get larger exhaust won't there still be a bottleneck at the stock ex. Mani.?

Not if you get hfpc {300 cell} or pcd. Still will be a bottle neck but not as bad as it would be with the oem 900cell cat

Nope, in Washington/Oregon we don't need any of that like in Cali. We can come in with track car and so long as it isn't popping a MIL it'll pass.

Do they only do obd2 inspection or do they also do a tail pipe? You could go pcd if they don’t do a sniffer

You guys think I should get one of these as to help the WHP? Itll help with the boost and help with mpg.

Or I could just say to hell with it n get one of these. What kinda gains can I get off it? I looked everywhere on Acurazine and couldn't find a writeup.

Haha! glad you two are lurkin' around. I'm eekin' for my Supercharger to come in. It shipped this morning from Miami.

No word yet from Nate @ CT. I should hear by friday, so I can order it all.

Battery relocation kit from Summit is on its way. I can hardly wait!

I was missing the battery cover and figured I'd get one off ebay to complete the cover set under the hood. Anyone wanna buy a battery cover?

I'm currently in my theater room watching TL S/C vids on youtube pretending it'll be me

I'm going through the list and seeing what I can get elsewhere.

I copied 04WDPSEDANs intake setup. Got it all on ebay and fiberglass heat wrap for the exhaust manifolds. Think I need the Wrap? I'm trying to keep heat out of the engine bay

Totally up to you, as long as youre running methanol you should be fine. I think wrapping the PCDs are more prone to cracking if you go w/ aftermarket ones.

Yup, Ive got the water/methanol kit on the way. Will it be harder to tune/More costly to tune because of the methanol kit?

How much more WHP will the 50 water / 50 methanol give me?

Duronn, where did you find was the best way to route the positive battery terminal to the back?

If I wrap the exhaust mani. up to the PCD?

Precat delete? But im not deleting my pre-cats..
