Best exhaust system to drop in on '06 TL
#2
I mean it depends, you wanna put a TL-S Bumper or TL-S Aspec Rear Lip? If so then ATLP is for your, otherwise alot of members using Greddy, Excelerate has an exhaust, and there is one who did the Apexi. Or you can do custom with magnaflow, do stage exhausts, alot of options for a limited market.
Most people are gonna recommend Greddy and ATLP. Its all up to you

definition of best is purely on opinion....
best sounding to me is a tie between greddy and atlp... best performing... they all yield similar gains

I am waiting for my Greddy to arrive, so I'll let you know how it is! I've read that the Greddy delivers slightly more whp then the Comptech. The Greddy does not have a center resonator as it only has a straight pipe- this= louder and less restriction. The Greddy does sound loud from the videos I've seen.
As for the warranty: All of the car companies I know will not void your warranty if you change the exhaust from the cat- back. If you swap out the J-pipe you will probably void your warranty. I have a Cooper S that has a cat-back and it's warranty was not voided or anything. The same goes with a CAI. Anything past the cat or past the intake will jeopardize your warrany.
