ATLP v1 and v2 exhaust?

okay before i get flamed i tried searching and tried emailing marcus..
so anyway I'm in the market for new quads and there are some v1 and v2 in the bm. So whats the difference between the two? is it ground clearance? gains? piping diameter? rasp or drones? pls help out i appreciate it.

i thought the visual differences were the quads being straight aligned in v1 and aligned like a stock type-s exhaust in v2. im not really sure about the gains difference, but i have the v2 (non-resonated) and i love it.

its perfect cause it looks great, sounds great(especially when driving spiritedly) and even the noise in the cabin is low, but that might be cause im used to it by now (: i'm not to sure what the v2 sounds like without an aftermarket jpipe and a test pipe though, since i have the entire atlp exhaust set up

^thank you! yeah avatars pretty "catchy" lmaoo

anyways back on topic. i heard from marcus via healtoe and this is his exact email:

"The Version 2 was updated to reduce cabin noise a bit, even without a resonator. Also the V1 had a steel mesh inside the tip giving an aggressive look that the V2 had foregone for a smooth inner tip surface. Otherwise they were the same.

We are looking at bringing back the V1 tip design on the V2 mufflers for 2013 though, so look out for that.
"

so i guess this discussion has been finalized...and oops i think marcus spilled the beans there about the v3 lol
