ATLP Type S Exhaust on the way!!!

I called Mike over at AcuraTLParts.com to inquire about the ATLP Type-S exhaust for my 2007 CB 5AT Type-S. I guess I am lucky as he said that there was only one more available before production is stopped completly!!! So i got the last one, I can't belive it. I was told that it has not been built yet and I should see it in about 2 weeks or less. I am really excited as I have never seen one in person, I am fortuante enough to live in Charlotte, NC and have the help of mmade22 (jon) to help me install. I will post pics of when it arrives and when we bolt it on.

mmade22 has a nice WDP and a great garage. Careful! He might be off taking spy shots of your car too =p

The new exhaust is the same as the quads, with one big tip covering the two openings. So I think he would wield up some tips intead of the one.

I want to be there when you do the install - I want to hear it right out of the box. PM me or have J.. call when you set a date/time.

Besides, I'm having some trouble with my driver.

they look different no? the outlet of the tips look closer than those of the quads...if they are the same as the quads i doubt they would then fit over the base rear....i maybe wrong...then again you can always buy the base atlp and put it on the type s rear

sorry to hijack but, i believe the ATLP base exhaust has the same muffler and the ATLP quad but instead it has 2-2.25" outlets both covered by a single exhaust tip. the shit is TITS!!! i think the sound will be a tad bit different due to the tips and exit design but i could be wrong. still is an alternative for others tho PLUS is provides an OEM look!!

check this out below

Polished tips, matte finish inside.
(will have option to be painted flat black inside, for $30 extra)
Stainless Steel 304. All the way.

Contours very well to the stock curves of the bumper cutout, while still giving a bad-ass look to it.

Yes it's slanted. Slanted top to bottom, as well as side to side.

Did someone say quads?

4 x 2.25" ID pipes. Should look pretty mean from the back.

Flat rear face also is polished. Doubt anyone even checks.

Yum.

Top View.

Price is set at $1095.00 + S&H for the first batch, and will be $1150 the next batch.

Next week these will be fitted, and tested for sound and bumper fit. Performance will remain the same as only about 4 inches of the system has changed, but not much restriction was introduced.

For payment and pre-order information, e-mail me at mike@acuratlparts.com with your shipping address, and I will e-mail you back with a invoice to place a deposit. We are accepting deposits ($200 deposit, remainder due when exhausts are ready), or full payments.

ETA for completion and remainder payment due is about 1.5 months from now.

Please do.

Turns out I have another reason to crawl up under the car while the under/exhaust sheild is off. I need to look at possible mounting points on the AT for a Torque Damper off the MT.

I'll bring some wrenches and help you guys out. Maybe bring the '02 and swap the RSB, Bushings and End-links too.

What is your expected ETA?

enjoy the exhaust man, get used to

1. having your face frozen when you open the windows on cold days/nights just to hear that sexy sound

2. turning down your music and downshifting in tunnels

congrats

Let me know when you bring the TL over to Jon's house. I'll come swing through and watch/participate with the install.
