ATLP J-Pipe Increases
I'm getting kind of restless waiting for my ATLP base exhaust (I'm in the second batch
)
The modding bug is really itching because I like the sound I'm getting from my AEM CAI and the responsiveness I'm getting from the lightweight drive pulley but I know the car isn't flowing the way it needs to.
I was going to wait until the exhaust was coming to order the High-Flo cat and the J-pipe in order to save on install cost. But from what I'm hearing there is alot of mid-range torque to be had from just getting the J-pipe. If that's the case I'd jump on it.
What I guess I'm trying to get at is feedback on increases from just a J-pipe installation. How well does it work with the smaller stock exhaust?

it kicks ass!!! i got that and the race pipe(3rd cat delete) and it was a nice little boost. all i have is a CAI and a TBS, but the rest of my exhaust is stock. from what i hear, you will probably get a bigger boost from the j-pipe than you will from the catback.

I installed the J Pipe and Race Pipe 2 weeks ago. It does make a difference both in general driving and when I get on it. The exhaust is a bit throatier also. Overall, I am very pleased with both the results and with the ATLP parts; really good quality and everything fits perfectly....

a little, but from what i can remember it adds a lower tone, like more bass from a stereo, but it doesnt get too much louder. if you look at the stock pipe compared to the aftermarkets you can just see how much better these things are put engineered. A+ in my book!

Anyone else ever read the ATLP Blogs?
He announced yesterday a new J-pipe design.

Better ground clearance, more equal length piping, ATLP J-pipe V2 ftw!

Oh damn! That looks very nice, I like the merger pipe. Is this gonna be priced any differently than the current Jpipe? It looks as if there will be no change in flow too! Plus better clearance ![Thumbs Up](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
And words of another option of pre-cats...
