Any HP increase with Ported Intake Runners

Would there be any benefit to porting the TL intake runners?

I can’t post photos, so I have listed the part numbers for reference.

2006 Tl Part numbers: 17050-RDV-J00 and 17060-RDV-J00

If so;Who maybe interested in this type of modification

They have Honda ones completed and listed on their site.

But is this mod worth the money?

Will it make any noticeable power?

Would we not need them to use the ones specific to the TL? or will the honda ones work?

Any help on this would be appreciated.

smoothing the stock intake ports to get rid of the rough casting edges will give some effect.
Do it while you are installing an intake heat blocking spacer

From P2R website...for the lazy

Here you go guys:

"2008 Honda Accord V6 Ported Intake Runners
P2R Ported Intake Manifold runners are brand new from Honda, and then ported by P2R for increased flow. Port diameter is increased, factory casting marks are removed, and then the ports are smoothed to perfection.
Part #: P321
MSRP: $379.99"

they are available...email sean, at power2r@powerrevracing.com. They are available for the 3rd gen, he just has to order the runners that fit the TL. P2r is coming out with some cool stuff for the j-series...
Check out j-series.org also.

That's exactly what I'm thinking. What happened to there being nothing available for this car? I kind of liked that better. Maybe if these things came out more spaced out...
