Aftermarket drl projects defect or hid bulb
Acurazine Members,
I have the Acura TL LED Signal DRL Projectors Headlights (PRO-JH-ATL04-DRL-BK) installed on the Drivers Side and the OEM on the Passenger Side. Noticed the vertical light output on the Drivers Side above the cut-off lines which is not there on the Passenger Side. Because of this, I have decided to forgo installing the Passenger Side DRL Projector until this issue is resolved.
Please share your thoughts on whether the below image displays a defective headlight? Initially, I was going to replace the HID bulb, however, I don't think that would resolve the problem. Could it be something inside the HID compartment defecting the small amount of light upward?
Thank you, and looking forward to your thoughts.

Thoiboi,
Thanks for the insight. Did not know about "squirrel finders". Must say I learn a lot from this forum. Because others from the forum has installed the DRL Projectors attached below with no reported issues, I will try to re-aim the Headlight to see if that resolves the problem.

Hate the amount of leakage on the 2G MDX, 3G TL has the best projectors I've seen and most aftermarket units can't compete.
