Adjusting ATLP Quads Mufflers

Hi all. Just got the ATLP quads installed, and have a simple question. For some strange reason, the tips do not fit centered in the skirt cut-outs. The original Type-S quads fits perfectly. The driver's side is not too bad (could be moved over 1/2" or so), but the passenger's side is sitting approx 1/2" by the skirt. see pictures as reference:

I tried to find pictures from other members' installs and they look pretty much dead centered. Is this adjustable, or something I have to live with?? If so, how? I think if I bring it to a muffler shop, and they probably heat up a section and bend the pipe a little. Would that have any risk of damaging anything? Any tips/info would be appreciated!!

Mine's like that too. You just need someone to adjust the hangers for you. Very simple.

^ I think if ANYTHING they would adjust the hangers. What my guy did was hang everything first then tightened it down later. Well, at least I'm pretty sure he did that.

the way i make an exhaust perfect is by, tightening the bolts just enough, so i can still move the muffler. ill have someone hold the muffler in place(need to put a bit of effort into it since it will move alot) while i tighten the bolts. thats the only way to get it perfect

hand tighten the nuts and bolts first while having everything on the hangers and what nots.

then do the adjustments and tighten the nuts.

when i got mine.. even tho im 2G.. aznbo187 says i should align my flanges as close as possible.
