You definitely hit that on the head Jack. When the car hit full boost it's so scary to drive especially since I don't have an LSD like the TL. Tq steer FTL. However, if you drive it out of boost it feels like a normal N/A car with a little kick when you need it. MPG is still manageable around 22-24 mix, 18-20 city, and 27-30mpg all highway.
also during my build I had to throw away an oil pan because the drain was welded on the wrong spot, had to have the intercooler I bought chopped up and reconfigured, custom intercooler pipe, lots of custom parts, and learned that brand wastegates do make a big difference. eBay special waste gate couldn't hold the right amount of boost. Had to get a turbo smart wastegate since it was 2 inch shorter to clear my radiator hose
If you are okay with no A/c Andy supercharger kit might be a good fit for you.

In a way they do. They wheel that have the most tq (passenger side to do length of axle) will be the one first to spin and power is transferred to the other wheel (driver side) that has the most grip. But the PCI spherical bearing also helps

I've always read about supercharging mods that causes the A/C to be deleted...why is that anyway? I assume this is not the same for a turbo mod. But definitely I would want to keep AC and as much daily functions intact as possible...

But honestly the more i think about it, the more i kind of just want to buy a car thats already turbo and build off of that, less headaches.
