300+ WHP Dynograph Thread
Post em if you got em.
I finally had a chance to go to the dyno the other day. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the results. The only mod since my last dyno run was the ATLP J-Pipe. I had huge gains in the mid-range. It is not shown on these graphs, but I gained over 20 HP and 15 FT/LBS TQ in the mid range. Thanks Mike!

Henryk, to make this post more valuable, post your power mods with your dyno.
I'm planning to dyno in April. I'm done with engine work... Really want to get the boost cooler in first. I may do the wide mouth throttle body... but again, without tuning adjustments these mods are just leaning out the mix. I'm hoping to top 320 whp = 2006 6MT, Supercharger, Type-S cats, ATLP J-pipe, ATLP exhaust, UR thermblocks.
I've got the parts but haven't built a custom CAI (that's not a power gainer though, just a noise maker).
I may just buy the one subsonicman is fabricating...

Though I already make your TQ now, your HP is what I hope to be making in the next couple weeks N/A... Hopefully the TQ might jump up to 270-280 if im lucky. Nice numbers though man.

I assumed since this is a 3rd gen TL forum, that it would be obvious I meant FWD.
Will do.
Thanks. I said E-SHIT on purpose.
I'm not quite sure of the gains of a J-pipe on a N/A application, but I would expect a good mid range bump.

SC TL to RS4 to 911
Henryk, Great numbers buddy... Haven't seen you around, school must be kicking your ass...haha! I may have to get mine done before I sell it....or maybe I'll take the RS4 out to Topspeed.

My guess is that the J-Shift pipe wouldn't add as much to the midrange, due to the way it's joined. The ATLP and Excelerate pieces went to great lengths to put a nice radius on the rear bank downpipe- this matters for flow, and it shows up in the midrange on the dyno.

Kenryk- nice numbers. I wanna race a boosted tl and see how it would do.
What dyno did you make your numbers on?
