21 lb Braille battery strong

It's 10 below 0 right now with a -19 wind chill. Colder than a witch's tit. Just started the car after it's been sitting outside for a week without being run and it fired up like it was a warm summer day. I'm impressed!

I had the 21lb brallie and liked it for about 6 months then it had nothing but problems.
too many days of having weak starting or dead, it went in the trash.

I now have a 4lb lithium battery now and its been flawless besides I ran it down one day listening to the radio.Threw some jumpers on it jumped right away,I never re charged the battery and its been fine since.
Starts at 20 degrees no problem.
I think I had one time where it was a slow crank but, that was when the temp was at single digit numbers and it still started the car.
They don't have any reserve capacity but, it sure puts out enough amps to start the car.
And at 4lbs you cant beat the weight loss.

Weird. Mine's eight months old and it's doing well in an upstate NY winter. It cranks faster in single digit/sub zero temps than my 2013 Subaru with the OEM battery. Seems hit and miss with the Braille. 4lbs is pretty insane!

Shorai lfx 36. And its way cheaper than when I bought it.
I paid like 375 ,with a quick look I know amazon is selling them for 260 now. The price is not far off from the AGM battery's now.definitely worth taking a look into if anyone wanted a nicer lighter weight piece.
All though I would recommend warmer climates or least winter starts because they are far from a cranking monster in the cold.

I run the 11lb. braille and I've been very pleased with it. This is my 2nd winter and it's working like a charm. I've looked into the lithium but I'm not ready to bite the bullet yet. While the CCA/weight ratio is quite a bit better than AGM, I'm not too keen on worrying about balancing, overcharging and other issues that lithium batteries have over lead-acid. Lithium is a superior technology though, there's no doubt about that. I'll look very seriously at lithium as a replacement once this Braille kicks the bucket.
