2006 Acura TL mods

I have a 2006 TL with 165k miles or so. Let's just say I add an AEM intake or similar with a ATLP V3-r, how much power gain could I be looking at by installing said mods. I've been going through these forums looking for some steady numbers but havent found consistency in them so just looking for a rough estimate.

Maybe five hp up near redline; eight if you're really lucky. Long story short not enough to justify the expenditure.

Although just a question, is this also accounting for the precat delete as well?

if you want to modify your car, do it for the love of modifying...

because it's really hard to make power with the TL.

Unfortunately, you will be making loud noises with not much gain. I don't have the numbers, but probably not much.

Peak power, probably not much. I will say the gains from my J-pipe were pretty noticeable but it was mostly in the midrange. But without doing a tune (pretty tough with an automatic) you won't get the most out of any mods you do. Case in point, I could tell the mods on my G35 did help, but having it tuned added 19 hp and 22 lb-ft torque and made the car drive much better overall.

The presumption of tuning is that the manufacturer did a bad job of tuning the car in the first place.
