I don't blame him for not going for the raffle. Too many times people step up and say I'm in and then when it's time to pony up, people vanish.

A straight sale is a sure thing for him.

Huh? There's nothing about it being a charity raffle.

Show me where the OP ever said he would consider a charity raffle?

This is what I see:

Thanks
Post #14 is someone SUGGESTING that he do a charity raffle.

It's a business recouping cost, not doing any donations.

There is no way that I am going to be able to do a raffle. Sorry guys!! Maybe one of the moderators would buy it from me and handle the raffle if that is what everyone wants. Or for that matter anyone could buy it and do a raffle and make a couple of bucks.

Doesn't it mechanically fit? I thought it could be done with an F/IC piggyback and a good tuner?

I'm skeptical. I think I remember reading that, but I don't remember the exact post, and I don't remember this actually being accomplished. I think it was all conjecture?

If you remember it, please point me to the thread regarding the Comptech S/C, and the UA7.

PM Stillhere153 to see how far he went when he had a UA7.

Rodney @ J&R have been looking at both ECU's and can tell you how they tuned their UA7 turbo application. They could also advise you on the layout differences if there are any.

To my knowledge, they haven't been able to tune the UA7 successfully.

If Rodney's able to tune the turbo application for the UA7, it should be possible to tune the S/C for the UA7 as well, correct?

more the issue then the tuning i think, is that the M62 supercharger is just too small for the 3.5 in the S, and cannot support the airflow needed for that size motor

Well I am told to get this thing out of here. So the first $3200.00 plus shipping takes it. That is the cheapest you will find one of these new. Let me know

The type s might not see the 100-120 additional hp but the blower will transform the car. You can also make a custom pulley to bring the psi up. As a former supercharger owner this mod was the best I have ever done to any car. The sound, lack of lag and stock operation makes the car a beast.

yeah i gotta find that post in the SC thread about the GTP pulley that will bump us up to 6-7 psi which is perfect with wide open exhausts

don't get me wrong, the low end will be awesome, but once you start getting to the topend, the blower will litially be choking the motor out, and seriously be killing the power potential
(now a M90 that NVA-AV6, can build is a whole other story with be able to actually support a 3.5 liter motor)
