Possibly a dumb question, but I bought a K&N intake system (I’ve done it to all my 3.2TL’s) and went to put it on but I cant find the MAF sensor anywhere... so the intake “boot” if you will just has a hole where the sensor is supposed to go. Apparently “stock” is right on original boot - but my car is all stock and It’s not at all there. This is the link I’m using to find the filer, anyone know what it is that I’m missing?

is there a cover for the MAF sensor hole? The 3.2 TL never had a spot for sensor on their K&N intakes. Should I just use one of those intake sysems, or make a cover?

3G TL's don't have MAF's (mass airflow sensor). Must be an intake from a 4G.

05 Acura TL

No MAF, but there is a MAP (on the throttle body), I have noticed a few intake companies include the 07-08 TL's in their fitment when its actually meant for a 4G TL or 08+ Accord. You could use the one in the link you posted, you just need to find something to plug the MAF hole, which honestly you could just buy a cheap MAF and use that to cover it. lol

The intake for the 04-08 3.2l base would be the same one you should/could use on the 07-08 TLS.

Thank you for clearing that up. I was completely thrown off because I couldnt find a MAF under the hood nor online lol, I’ll just get one that’s for the 3.2 since it’s quick and direct fit. Appreciate it!👍🏻

If you're buying the one that's listed in that link, it is definitely nowhere near a Cold Air Intake.. More like a Short Ram aka Hot Air Intake.
but to each their own

I have the same intake and the same problem..!! no MAS on 2008 type S ….. what have you done to solve the problem..??

I just used the intake setup for the 3.2l as it doesnt have a hole. Otherwise I read some people just put one in to fill hole...found that to be pointless
