I used to live on the east side, and Jeffrey is the only Acura dealer that offers a loaner Acura whenever I have service done. When they did the warranty work, I drove an 08 TL for 2 weeks, and put almost 2500 miles on it. I have heard from other Acura owners that Suburban in Farmington Hills is the WORST dealer around.

I assumed all Acura dealers provided a loaner.

2500 miles? That is a lot of driving in a short time. Where did you go?

 

27th works the best for me, and i will drive almost anywhere too. I am either in Howell or Royal Oak(my girlfriend) so i am up for almost anywhere.


And i have been to the Acura dealership in Troy, which is where i bought mine, and in Ann Arbor. Neither are that bad. Ann Arbor installed my new engine after i hydrolocked and made sure my aftermarket parts were not in view for the insurance inspector, so that wins point with me I also know them the best. I thought Troy was the better of the two at first, but after i initially sucked in the water i had it towed to them and they didnt really do much for me and seemed kinda put out that they had to look at my car. All they did was pull the plugs and flush the oil, but i dont think they ever did a compression test. I now know the importance of this but at the time i had no clue about this crucial test. Fast forward three months and my engine blows. Never been to Farmington, but i heard that they were the worst as well.

 

At the time I bought mine (12/04), Jeffrey was the only one who supplied loaners for ANY service. I could call them for an oil change from my work and they would drop off a loaner and do the service on mine, then return it and take back the loaner. They still do this, but I am now working in Brighton. I originally test drove the TL in Troy, had a beautiful woman sales person, she explained EVERYTHING about the car. But when I went to buy it, she had quit and found a different job. I was not confident with anyone else there. I have heard that Suburban does not fix cars on the first try, and their work is shoddy. They did let me test drive the SH-AWD TL after only about 10 minutes in the dealership, with no one riding with me.

It seems like somewhere around Brighton/Howell area would be central to most everyone. I don't know of any places to have a meet-any suggestions?

 

I work for verizon and 20 and the 27 are both saturdays, which are my busiest days. Would anyone object to doing it the 21 or the 28? I always have sundays of and im cool with either of those days.

crap, my phone's calendar only shows one day, the first day, of a multi-day event. i was suppose to have a bunch of people over that weekend. i could make it ion the 28th but probably not till later in the day. sorry guys!

SWEET! I have made everyone of Turk's show except last year ( because of $$$). We leave Friday and return back on Sunday. Gotta do the Ohio relatives on Sunday. Turk puts on one hell of a show and it is for a good cause!
