XM serial numbers

anyone know if it possible to change the reciever number? i happened to get a number the other day thats active, and would love to somehow program my box to think it's the one i now have thats active

I don't know if it is possible, but it appears that this would be illegal and we can't allow anyone to request information about how to circumvent paying legitimate fees here.
