XM Radio Replacement

My dealership is telling me my XM radio needs to be replaced. When I set the Dolby surround sound on the rear speakers sound terrible. When I have it set off, the sound is fine in all speakers. It only happens with the XM radio.

So, the dealership is telling me it is $1300 to replace. I found another source for the XM radio but they are asking for $900.

Does anyone know of any aftermarket XM radios that connect to the OEM radio head unit?

By the way, I'm driving a 2008, TL Type-S.

Thanks.

I have a 2012 TL and the dealer told me that Dolby Surround Sound only works in Aux or CD mode. I would get a 2nd opinion so you don't get ripped off.
