XM Promo, did you?

Just curious, how many folks took advantage of the XM promo? I know there were 2-3 threads on this.

I did, I think you still have one more day. If you need a copy of the promotion, pm me and I will e-mail it to you after work.

do you want an exact count or an estimate?

Yes, along with at least 3,000 others, I did sign up for a year. What sort of a response are you expecting?

Just a quick FYI: I called yesterday afternoon, attempting to get in on this. I just picked up my TL last Wednesday, so I'm still just beginning my free trial. The rep on the phone told me that the deal was still valid, and that I didn't need to worry about ordering it by August 31. She told me to just keep it for the 3 months and then when service is up, call back and they will give me the discounted price of $60/yr. She told me that because I was in my free trial, I couldn't yet take advantage of this.

It seems this is a promotion they are always running (for customer retention perhaps), even if not advertising. I didn't even specifically mention which promotion I was talking about, just that it was $60/yr and she didn't question it further.

Well I am in the same boat as you chris, however my rep went ahead and setup my account so that at the end of my 3 month trial (which just started) the 1 year would kick in.

Hmm, I may just call them then to verify that I get this rate and so I don't have to worry about it for a while. I guess a different rep might do that for me.
