Talked with my friend today who installs car audio systems. He has navi, and has installed a kit that allows use of the am/fm/cd/xm...as normal (factory) and can also pick up hd stations and use the ipod. The best part is it all looks factory. Thinking about getting this done. I think the whole kit runs around $200 if you do it yourself. You just add your ipod (say in the glove box) and control it from your factory system.
